Why FREE Estimates are not FREE?
This is an EXCELLENT question and with all the free estimates out there we thought we might explain our decision to only offer free estimates to first time customers. Typically we charge a small dispatch fee to cover costs to arrive at the house and allow enough time to estimate the typical concerns. If someone comes out to your home to give an accurate estimate, costs and time are involved. We strive to provide quality products and services at affordable prices for every customer. I could fill up this entire page with a list of expenses seen and unseen involved in providing an estimate. Most companies who offer a FREE estimate are charging an estimate fee. Depending on the company these fees are rolled into ALL of the jobs they do get, pay the technician commission or low wage, write it off, or a combination of all 3. We would rather offer a FREE estimate so our customers can get to know us, attract quality technicians with good pay, and charge a fair rate based on actual costs to each customer.
